Yay! Finally some good news! Demi Lovato and her boyfriend, actor Max Ehrich, just announced to the world that they are getting married. The couple took to Instagram (where else do people announce their news these days?) with matching pictures and cute captions declaring how excited they are to spend their lives together.
“I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” Demi wrote. “I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything but myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”
“I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage,” the singer continued. “I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby.” Aww.
Over on Max’s Instagram post, Max called Demi “every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything [he] could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life”.
“I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife,” he continued.
The couple has been together since March, with Demi calling Max “a positive lil beam of light in her life” and Max calling Demi the “love of his life” after a romantic getaway to Joshua Tree.
An old tweet from Max in 2011 was even found by fans (God, they have a lot of time on their hands) where he wrote, “All I wanted for Christmas was Demi Lovato.” Well Max, you finally got your wish. Santa came early this year. (Or a few years late.)
