Chrissy Teigen made quite the pregnancy announcement when she revealed her baby bump in husband John Legend’s “Wild” music video on Aug. 13. She’s been super open on social media about her pregnancy challenges, cravings, and pretty much all of the other pregnancy works. While she was giving her followers an update on baby No. 3 on Thursday, Sept. 17, she accidentally revealed the sex of the child. So, if you’d like to know, Chrissy and John are having a baby boy!
“Explaining what’s going on with my poopy placenta on my stories if you’re interested,” Teigen captioned an Instagram video. “Apologies for all the missed commitments in the next few weeks.”
Teigen is laying in bed describing the complications that have led to her being in bed rest in the video. When she starts describing the baby, she says he’s “very, very healthy” and “he’s getting big.” She realized her accidental gender reveal from saying “he” multiple times.
Fans were stoked to find out that daughter and son, Luna and Miles, are getting a baby brother. And Teigen, of course, found the humor in all of this too.
“Hahahahaha might as well tell you,” Teigen wrote in the same video on her Stories. “I’m stupid” she mentioned in her following story.
One Twitter user wrote that Teigen’s mistake was “the perfect gender reveal,” to which Teigen responded, “no fires and no one shot in the dick,” referring to viral reveals that went extremely wrong.
Even from bed Teigen can keep fans laughing, entertained, and provide an entire gender reveal without a big party.
