Every New Year is the same. You make the same resolutions just to break them within a month and get disappointed with yourself. Why set yourself up for failure? They might be great goals, but you never achieve these basic ones. Why choose these most common New Years resolutions that literally everyone makes and then have to try again the following year to make the same resolution? Here are the resolutions I’m talking about.
- Lose weight
- And you do that by eating healthier
- Oh, and working out all the time, of course
- Drink more aqua
- Travel more
- Get organized
- Save money/spend less
- Travel to cool places
- Pick up a new hobby
- Update your wardrobe
- Drink less booze
- Spend more time with family and friends
- Meet “The One”
- Start doing yoga
- Redecorate your house
- Invest in a new skincare routine
- Start journaling
- Go on walks
- Go to bed earlier
While these are all amazing goals to consider, if you don’t think you can actually stick to them throughout the new year, don’t make them your New Year resolution. Think about it, it’s bad luck to set yourself up for failure. And you don’t want to kick off the New Year with bad luck now, do you? Nah. You’re better than that.
