Britney Spears Responded To The “Framing” Documentary On Hulu

If you haven’t seen it by now, Framing Britney Spears is a new Hulu documentary produced by FX and the New York Times. It follows Spears’ downfall from the public’s good graces and looks at how people treat women in the media. However, her story is still going on. Spears is still under conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears. She finally responded to the documentary’s allegations.

“Each person has their story and their take on other people’s stories !!!!,” she shared on Instagram with a video of herself performing “Toxic” live three years ago. ” We all have so many different bright beautiful lives !!! Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person’s life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens !!!!”

She didn’t straight up address Framing or its allegations, but it was clear that she was aware of the film. This was also backed up by her boyfriend, Sam Asgharai’s response. He wrote on Instagram “Now it’s important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way. In my opinion, Jamie [Spears] is a total dick.”

The New York Times reported that Spears’ conservatorship is going back to court. She’s fighting to regain control over her finances, health decisions, career, and personal life. Her legal conservator since 2008 has been her father, Jamie Spears. She was able to successfully petition the court to name a co-conservator in the form of an independent financial fiduciary entity in 2020. However, her father still has control.
