Riverdale‘s star KJ Apa and girlfriend Clara Berry are expecting their first child.
KJ Apa, 23, announced on Instagram they are going to be parents. He shared a photo sat on the couch with Clara’s baby bump on display. Clara shared a series of pictures of her own.
Just to clarify the message, KJ commented, “she’s pregnant btw” and Clara responded, “We are.”
Fans were ecstatic for the couple. Cara Delevingne commented, “Congratulations to both of you.” Another fan commented, “congrats to you both. love you”
KJ’s Riverdale costar, Vanessa Morgan, welcomed her first child in January. She commented “River’s soon to be bestie.” Other costars, such as Madelaine Petsch and Charles Melton, sent crying and heart emojis.
The first time KJ and Clara announced their relationship was in February 2020 with an Instagram post with the caption, “Coup de foudre” (Love at first sight”). KJ later shared insight into their couple-y holiday in August. Then, he shared a photo of his girlfriend sunbathing naked with the caption, “There’s nowhere else.”
According to Vogue, Clara is a 27-year-old model signed with Present Model Management in 2016. She has worked with the likes of Viktor & Rolf, Off-White and Tommy Hilfiger.
