Dreams really do come true for some people, like Machine Gun Kelly for example. He recently admitted to having a Megan Fox poster up in his teenage bedroom.
In a new GQ interview, Machine Gun Kelly, who has been dating Fox for over a year now, confessed that he used to dream about being with his now-girlfriend. His real name, Colson Baker, 31, the profile admitted:
“Baker was the teenager who got the Decepticons logo from Transformers tattooed on his arm and hung a poster of Megan Fox in his bedroom (at least one classmate recalls him vowing he’d marry her one day). Now he’s bringing her onstage during his performance on Indy 500 weekend. ‘It was from her GQ shoot,’ he goes on to [say]. ‘So that’s some full-circle shit.'”
Full-circle, indeed.
So how did these two lovebirds meet? The two met on the set of the upcoming indie film Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020, before she later appeared in his music video for ‘My Bloody Valentine’ in May. The relationship was confirmed in June 2020 when Daily Mail published photographs of them holding hands and kissing after a night spent at Mr. Furley’s Bar in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Ever since then, Kelly admits this is the first time he’s been in love. “I didn’t know what [true love] was until me and her made eye contact,” he told Howard Stern’s radio show (via E!). “That’s when I was like, ‘Whoa.”
“I did fall in love for the first time. That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn’t set up to believe that that’s something that could ever exist.”
Just imagine what teenage MGK’s response would be right now.
