“Follow a forest path and see illuminated scenes from Harry Potter’s Wizarding World,” is the promise for the new event signed by Warner Bros. The entertainment studio announced the event for Harry Potter fans in the heart of the United Kingdom entitled Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience. The company is teaming with production, design and entertainment agencies Thinkwell, Fever and Unify, to recreate the spooky and mystique vibe of the Forbidden Forest surrounding Hogwarts.
To go live this experience, you’ll need to go to the city of Arley, in Cheshire more precisely. The experience takes over the woods of Arley Hall & Gardens, a beautiful country house built in the 1830s and located near Manchester.
The Forbidden Forest Vist
When visiting the Forbidden Forest, the visit will be at night and outdoors. All kinds of enchanted creatures will appear on the visit, such as centaurs, unicorns, giants, dragons, and more. Warner Bros. put out a statement to spark the public’s curiosity: “At nightfall, bewitching lights will transform the landscape into a magical outdoor path for families to enjoy. As they wander through the woods and follow the illuminated path, visitors will discover wonderful surprises, some of their favorite moments from the Forbidden Forest, and meet mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, Centaurs, Unicorns, Nifflers – and many more.”
Magical Activities
Visitors will also be able to participate in addition to attending their favorite scenes. Encountering magical animals, creating Patronuses, showcase ritual with a Hippogriff, and maybe even coming face to face with the car Harry and Ron used to get to school in their second year are all possible activities. At the end of the tour, guests can visit the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience Village to snack on some magical treats or sip on some Butterbeer. And there will be a shopping area for those who want to leave with magical items like a wand, time turner, or scarf of their favorite Quidditch team.
The first tickets went online Thursday, July 29, and the experience is set to open October 2021.
