The Delevingne Sisters Launched Their Prosecco In The U.S.

Today, September 15, the three Delevingne sisters – Poppy, Cara, and Chloe – launch their prosecco line in the United States. The line is called Della Vite, and it’s made from handpicked Glera grapes from Italy’s Valdobbiadene valley. It first made its appearance in the UK in August 2020.

The sisters are massive fans of prosecco, as it obviously turns out. “It’s just always been a part of our lives – whether we were enjoying ourselves on holiday, mourning a breakup, or celebrating a wedding,” Poppy said. “It was on every tabletop… and we were on every tabletop with it, probably.”

It also must have been fate. The entrance to the vineyard (owned by a third-generation Italian family) is welcomed by a sign, “Della Vite,” meaning “of the vine.”

“Remarkable our name, as it used to be spelled, also means ‘of the vine’ – but in French,” Chloe said.

Their prosecco is 100% vegan, as they avoid the animal products that may be used in alcohol’s yeast filtration process. Another bonus is their winery operates on solar-power energy. The prosecco itself has beautiful perfume scents of jasmine and lavender.

As for the bottle, they went back and forth over the look. At one point they even considered the idea of a pink cork, but settled for a simple, sleek design with a gold scripted logo in Poppy’s handwriting. It’s written on the bottle, sans label. “I have trouble chucking it in the bin when I’m done,” says Cara. “I’m like – it doesn’t deserve to be there.

Not to mention, each sister drinks the beverage differently. Cara has it with “lots of ice – so it’s like a spritz.” Poppy likes hers as a cocktail, maybe with a bit of blackberry liqueur or Aperol. Chloe prefers it straight up.

Now that it’s available in the states, why not try out all three ways the Delevingne sisters like it?
