Kourtney Kardashian Was “Thrown Off” By Travis’s Proposal

Yesterday was a huge day for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, as the two embarked on a new stage in life by getting engaged.

There have been loads of responses from the Kardashian-Jenner clan, plus news about how Scott Disick feels about it (not happy FYI). More details have come forward on how the proposal happened and as it turns out, Kourt was apparently “thrown off” by it.

An insider spoke to E! News and revealed that Kourtney was completely shocked by the proposal and “had no idea” it was coming.

The source shared, “It happened during the sunset at Rosewood Miramar. They had just got back from NYC and decided to do a day trip to Montecito. Kourtney thought it was going to be a casual day, as they always go to Rosewood, and she was totally thrown off.”

The proposal included a huge display of roses laid out on the beach, with the source adding that Kourtney quickly realized what was going on when she saw the scene.

“[Kourtney] knew the second she walked down the steps and saw the huge floral arrangements, that it was happening,” the insider continued. Travis got down on one knee and “professed his love for her and thanked her for making him a better person.”

“It was super emotional and sentimental. Kourtney was so happy and was definitely emotional. She teared up and couldn’t stop saying, ‘I love you.'”

According to the insider, the Kardashian-Jenner clan and Travis’ kids were all in on the surprise. The source explained that they “were all in on it and surprised them afterwards inside the hotel. They are all celebrating in the restaurant and have a private area.”

Of course the Kardashian-Jenner family were quick to share their reactions online. Travis’ son, Landon Barker, also took to TikTok to share his happy response to the news. Landon posted a video of Kourtney and Travis cuddling at the dinner table, writing “So happy for me and my new family!”

So cute!
