Macaulay Culkin Is Now A Gucci Runway Model

Gucci’s Love Parade on Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday was star-studded. The fashion show featured Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith, and most surprising, Macaulay Culkin.

Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s creative director, debuted a string of designs. Many famous faces were in the audience, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Serena Williams, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Bryant.

Meant as a love letter to Hollywood, Michele told WWD that the fashion presentation was about embracing “how much of this brand is bound to cinema.” Naturally, the event was filled with celebrities.

Culkin popped up on the runway, modeling the brand’s designs down Hollywood Boulevard. He worked the runway sporting a Hawaiian shirt and shiny floral jacket, with a signature Gucci belt and wide-legged trousers. Culkin completed the look with orange shades and studded black shoes.

“He is so powerful and different and he has gone through a lot. I think it’s beautiful to put on the catwalk human beings,” Michele told WWD, speaking of Culkin.

“The arrival of former child star Macaulay Culkin was something of a plot twist,” said Vogue‘s Alice Cary. “[He] strode along Hollywood Boulevard in the suitably nostalgic combo of a Hawaiian shirt under a floral bomber jacket. The finishing touches? Seventies-style tinted sunglasses and a pair of horsebit clogs.”

This was one event Macaulay Culkin made sure he wasn’t left ~home alone~ for.
