Whether you enjoyed House of Gucci or not, one thing you can’t deny is that the movie was packed with style. In each scene, Lady Gaga stepped out looking like a dime piece. This is all thanks to the movie’s costume designer, Janty Yates.
One of the most popular outfits from the film was towards the end of the movie, when Gaga meets Adam Driver’s Maurizio in the Swiss Alps for a meal with his friends. Gaga posted a photo in the all-black outfit beside Driver back in March as anticipation for House of Gucci was growing. Well now, thanks to Christie’s, you can actually own your own chic all-black look. Christie’s is actually auctioning off the exact outfit from the film.
The stunning outfit is up for auction as part of Christie’s “Le Coeur des Stars bat pour ELA” auction. The whole outfit includes a black pure cashmere long-sleeved sweater, a black vintage Paolo Gucci jacket with gold buttons, black wool trousers made for Gaga, black and brown Sergio Rossi suede platform boots, and the white fox fur hat. Gaga’s jewelry from Pikkio Bijoux is also included in the bundle, featuring a short gold and pearl necklace, a long Chanel-style necklace with multiple chains, and a pair of large gold earrings.
Bidding for the outfit starts at 4,000 euros. Christie’s estimates it will reach anywhere between 15,000 and 25,000 euros. There’s another catch too. You will have to wait until 2022 to get the outfit. According to Christie’s, the film’s costumes are currently being presented as part of House of Gucci‘s Oscar campaign and will not be available to the buyer until the beginning of the new year. However, style like this is worth the wait.
