There’s no better feeling than having a best friend. Hilary Duff and Molly Bernard celebrated their friendship by getting matching Saturn tattoos.
“Nye solar system sisters @hilaryduff @sushi.the.artist,” Bernard wrote in a post. The pair showed off their new ink, which are placed on their forearms close to their wrists. The tattoo designs were done by LA-based artist Sushi, whose designs feature intricate animal portraits and celestial prints.
Duff and Bernard appeared together on the show Younger for seven years, playing BFFs Kelsey Peters and Lauren Heller. Their onscreen chemistry spilled over into real life, and other castmates hang out often when cameras weren’t rolling as well.
“[Hilary] calls me if she has a 20-minute interval just because, like, we miss each other,” Bernard said talking about Duff and the rest of the cast. “They’re all so supportive. We made a little family on that set.”
While matching tattoos get a bad rap, they don’t have to be a curse. They can be a fun way to celebrate a special bond with someone. And if anything, they can be removed if the bond sadly ends.
