Rumors had been swirling about the two for years, and fans have been hoping they’d end up together. So Emma Watson admitting her love for Tom had fans getting all stirred up all over again.
Now, Emma finally reacted to fans wanting her and Tom to date.
Recap: In the Return to Hogwarts reunion, Emma spoke about when she first fell for Tom. She said, “I just don’t know how to say it – I just fell in love with him [Tom]. I use to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day.”
Tom responded to Emma’s crush, saying, “I became very protective over. Yeah, I’ve always had a soft spot for her and that continues to this day. There’s always been something that’s like, I don’t know, a kinship.”
In a new interview with British Vogue, Emma responded to the fan reactions to her crush on Tom. She was asked what it was like for her and Tom to see the responses, to which she laughed, “We speak most weeks, and we just think it’s sweet.”
