For those with round faces that are looking for a way to apply your contouring, there’s finally a solution. Fenty Beauty brand posted a tutorial for a lifted face on TikTok.
TikToker Steph Hui reacted to this makeup technique posted by the official account of Fenty Beauty last year. Her video has more than a million views, and now the influencer is bringing the contouring tutorial for people with round faces back to the fore. To achieve this “lifted face” effect, you need a cream contour and two brushes. One for the cheeks and forehead and a smaller one for the nose.
- Put on your tinted foundation or cream, concealer, and loose powder as usual.
- Apply your contour in a “Y” shape, starting from the outside of the cheeks, and direct the branches of the “Y” towards your nose and your chin.
- Complete by applying contouring to your forehead, temples, nose, and jawline.
- Blend the product upwards (for a lifting effect) with a brush.
- Powder the lower part of your face with loose powder to accentuate the contouring effect.
The technique is excellent is you desire structuring and sculpting your face. The products used in the video are by the Fenty Beauty brand, but obviously you can use whatever you have at hand.
