Gucci Is Now Offering A Pet Collection

Pets can now bask in Gucci too.

As of today, June 27, the Italian luxury brand introduced the Gucci Pet Collection for dogs and cats featuring the brand’s signature motifs. The collection features collars and harnesses in plain leather, GG canvas, Web stripe, Herbarium, or allover G print, and embellished with details such as the interlocking G logo or studs.

Leashes are available in various lengths and widths. The mix includes bag holders and Air Tag cases, all available in the same materials to coordinate or mix and match.

The pet collection also features pieces for the home, including made-to-order miniature couches for pets to lounge, feeding bowls with various house prints, cloches to cover bowls with, hard-sided cases with removable ceramic bowls and handles for easy transport, and coordinated feeding mats.

For pets who travel often, there are carriers in GG-canvas. Apparel features polos, T-shirts, knitwear and coats in a vibrant palette and signature designs such as allover strawberries and hearts to interlocking Gs and the classic monogram, also seen in the house’s ready-to-wear.

Gucci joins some of other many luxury brands that have gotten into the pet business, such as Saint Laurent, Versace, and Prada.

The Gucci Pet Collection stays in line with the house’s commitment to sustainability by featuring items in recycled polyester, recycled cotton or Demetra, Gucci’s material primarily from renewable and bio-based sources.

The pet collection is being is being unveiled through a campaign with art direction and photography by Max Siedentopf.
