Fashion week has arrived. This means you can expect to see beautifully crafted designs both on and off the runway. Day one has already seen Emma Watson putting a streetwear spin on high fashion.
Attending the Schiaparelli autumn/winter 2022 couture show, Emma Watson chose an exquisite ensemble that was quite eye-catching. The standout piece was her black blazer with its power shoulders and monumental lapels, from the opening look of Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2022 couture collection. The actress balanced out the dramatic piece by throwing on a crisp white collared shirt, grey skinny jeans, and a chunky pair of black leather Dr. Martens Chelsea boots.
While there has been lots of controversy over skinny jeans as of late, Watson made quite the case for them in her latest ensemble. The jeans perfectly offsetted the high fashion situation up top. They weren’t the extremely tight style we all saw years ago from rock bands, but still tight enough to be considered skinnies. The 32-year-old opted for a nice pair with a rip right below the knee. Hopefully this will be the start of the comeback of the beloved jeans that have gone into disappearance.
