A Hermès Pop-Up And Permanent Flagship Store Are Coming To Williamsburg

According to an exclusive report by WWD, Hermès is headed to Williamsburg. For the first quarter of 2023 there will be a long-term pop-up in the neighborhood, then a permanent flagship store is set to follow in its footsteps come 2026.

Hermès signed leases for two locations with urban retail and mixed-use real estate investment firm L3 Captial.

“Hermés’ decision to invest in Williamsburg speaks to the strength and vibrancy of this location. We are fortunate to have such a great partner that will contribute to the growth and evolution of this neighborhood,” says Domenic Lanni, Co-Founder of L3 Capital.

The initial pop-up will be set at 91 North 6th Street, positioned around less high-end brands, including Madewell, Urban Outfitters, and Everlane. The two-story store measures around 5,400 square feet, and plans to stick around for about two years.

The flagship store will be a few doors down in an 85,000-square-foot single-story locaiton at 111 North 6th Street. There’s lots of construction going on, so this location is set to open around 2026.

The high-end retailer will be the brand’s first store in Brooklyn and its fourth in New York.
