House of the Dragon finally debuted on Aug. 21. The series, which is a prequel to Game of Thrones, takes place nearly 200 years before GoT and is filled with just as much action-packed drama. Since the series is best watched with a glass of wine, HBO paired with Vintage Wine Estates and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring fans House of the Dragon Wines. There are three wines, all red.
House of the Dragon Wines, which officially launched in July 2022, has been an option for everyone who likes to sip red wine. The three wines offered pay tribute to the HBO show with very on-theme bottle designs that’ll compliment the new episodes detailing the events that led up to Game of Thrones. Each bottle features a wine label with the golden Targaryen sigil of a three-headed dragon and have the House of the Dragon logo printed on them.
Depending on what you’re into, you can choose from an Oregon Pinot Noir, a California Cabernet Sauvignon, or a red blend from California’s Lodi appellation. As of right now, the Pinot Noir is the only one in stock online, but the California Cabernet Sauvignon and California’s Lodi appellation blend will be available online starting in September 2022. Each 750-milliliter bottle of wine sells for $20 each.
