Although Gisele Bündchen officially filed for divorce from her quarterback husband Tom Brady on October 28, the supermodel may have been prepping for it for months. The New York Post reported that Gisele Bündchen bought a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house in Surfside – a tiny town located between Bal Harbour and Miami Beach – on February 28 for $1.25 million. Brady returned to the NFL after retiring just two weeks later.
In comparison to other houses Bündchen previously shared with Brady, this home seems to be the smallest, at only 1,540 square feet. According to county documents obtained by The Post, though the home has fresh, contemporary renovations, the supermodel will be redesigning the interiors.
The home is located just blocks from the beach. It’s an Art Deco-style cottage, sporting white walls and hardwood floors throughout its public rooms. An open kitchen feeds into a small living area with space for dining and lounging, featuring stainless steel appliances, white cabinetry, and a marble waterfall eat-in island. The master bedroom boasts two wide-set windows. The master bathroom features a glass-enclosed stand-alone shower, white brick walls and rich gold farmhouse-style hardware. The small backyard consists of a tiny patio and grassy lawn.
Bündchen and Brady had been married for thirteen years and share two children (Brady also has a son from his past relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan). The two have owned multiple properties together, including a 14,000-square-foot Brentwood home, as well as their latest mansion which is still in construction on the ultra exclusion Indian Creek island (nicknamed The Billionaire Bunker) in Miami, which also has Enrique Iglesias and Jared and Ivanka Kushner as residents.
