A Christmas favorite, The Holiday, staring Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, among others, is getting a part two. So far, this is what we know about the sequel.
The 2006 film came out just before Christmas, and many fans have watched year after year since then. To refresh your memory: in The Holiday, two women (Cameron Diaz as Amanda, and Kate Winslet as Iris) switch houses to make their lives more exciting. One is in a cozy cottage in England, the other stays in a mega villa in the US. Obviously, this includes a lot of Christmas romance and drama. And now, there’s going to be a sequel.
The Sun announced that the film (which generated nearly 150 million in profit) is getting a sequel after seventeen years. The main protagonists – Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black – will all be present. The romcom will be filmed next year, 2023, in various European countries, including the UK.
