This 337-room hotel is located in the heart of NoMad, just north of Madison Square Park. The James is housed in a century-old Beaux-Arts building along with its signature restaurant, Scarpetta, and an underground cocktail lounge, The Seville. The Zoom Zen package will allow guests to unplug and rejuvenate for the night. Upon arrival, a “technology valet” stores your devices to take away the temptation. Your room will be stocked with mindfulness puzzles, a yoga mat and meditation pillow for full-body wellness. Scarpetta cocktails will be delivered to your door, and you’ll be able to relax on your luxury linens. You’ll also get a James NoMad sheet face mask and contactless spa kit delivery, courtesy of the skincare brand, Ingredients Skincare.
3. The William Vale
Located in the heart of Williamsburg, each room at this luxurious hotel features a private balcony with beautiful views of Brooklyn and Manhattan, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows, custom designer decor and artwork celebrating local artists. Throughout this winter season, the hotel has transformed its 23rd floor outdoor rooftop into a skating rink, created with Glice’s sustainable synthetic ice. The heated chalets surrounding Vale Rink are available to book for a private, Alpine-style fondue. The Choose Your Own Love Story package offers a menu of amenities that can be added to the guest experience. These include a “Romantic Setup” of rose petals, tealights and a how-to guide for creating a romantic atmosphere. Opened in 1927, The Lowell is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It’s a cozy hotel, with 74 sun-filled rooms and suites spread over 17 floors. The spacious suites are furnished with kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces and terraces. The hotel is known for concierge services that strive to fulfill every guest’s desire. The Warmth and Wine package offers guests welcome beverages from the private bar upon arrival, a bottle of red wine and selection of macarons made by the hotel’s chef, daily breakfast for two, and a daily newspaper of choice. Also included are two complimentary fireplace lightings. One of the hotel’s “fireplace butlers” comes to the guests’ room or suite with a bundle of wood and hand-lights the fireplace, allowing guests to choose their desired aroma.
