London Fashion Week Will Be Dedicated To Vivienne Westwood -

In just a few days will mark the beginning of London Fashion Week, which will take place from February 17 to 22, and will take over from New York. London Fashion Week will once again combine face-to-face fashion shows and online presentations. This year will be dedicated to leading British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, who passed away last December at the age of 81.

This was confirmed by the British Fashion Council, organizer of London Fashion Week, through a statement, which states that this new edition will not just pay tribute to her “incredible legacy”, it also seeks to value her work, with which she “not only changed the fashion industry, giving rise to and defining punk, but also fueled positive change globally.”

Vivienne Westwood was a global fashion icon. Now, the British will be able to remember her name forever next to fashion.

There will be 127 brands presenting their lines for the autumn/winter 2023-24 season in this London Fashion Week, 104 on the catwalk and 41 through digital presentations, as BFC recently announced. Among the brands, usual brands will appear, such as Christopher Kane, JW Anderson and Simone Rocha.
