  1. Måneskin

The Italian band Måneskin’s debut song Beggin‘ released in 2017, just two years after the band formed. The song placed second-place in Italian X factor in 2017, and shot to global fame thanks to winning the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. In 2022, they won the Top Rock Song for Beggin’ at the Billboard Music Awards. Since then, the Italian rock band has become a global sensation.

2. Anitta

Despite being in the music business since 2015, Anitta is just now gaining massive popularity. And the single that’s exploded things exponentially is the highly addictive Envolver. The single has been streamed more than 480 million times on Spotify. The Brazilian singer rose to fame when she posted a video of herself singing into a can of deodorant. Her real name is Larissa Machado, but her stage name comes from an old Brazilian TV show Presença de Anita.

3. JVKE

Jacob Lawson, known professionally as JVKE, has cultivated an enthusiastic following over the past year. The singer gained popularity during the pandemic when he began creating TikTok videos, and one of which, Upside Down, went viral in 2021. So far, he has accumulated over 7 million followers on TikTok and over 29 million followers on Spotify. His song Golden Hour was his first song to reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

4. Muni Long

Priscilla Hamilton, AKA Muni Long, first became known for her YouTube videos. After performing Best I Ever Had by Drake on guitar, the singer got in touch with Drake. It was all history from there. At the 2023 Grammys, she won the award for Best R&B Performance for her single Hrs & Hrs.

5. Steve Lacy

Before he became a solo artist, Steve Lacy performed as the guitarist of the alternative R&B band, The Internet. In 2017, Lacy released his self-produced debut, Steve Lacy’s Demo. The singer’s first chart-topping solo hit, Bad Habit, was released in 2022 from his third studio album Gemini Rights.
