It’s been some time since Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson broke up. The pair dated for nearly nine months, from 2021 to 2022. Davidson was Kardashian’s first known relationship following her divorce from ex-husband Kanye West. And now, she’s apparently ready to get back into the dating scene again, but doesn’t want to date anyone famous.
A source told People that the star has been asking friends to set her up with people again, and that she is saying she “would love to date someone who isn’t famous in Hollywood.”
“Kim hasn’t been dating, but is ready again,” the source told the outlet. “She took a breather after Pete [Davidson], but she is interested now. She would love to date someone who isn’t famous in Hollywood. She thinks someone in finance would be perfect.”
They continued, “Kim has a lot of things going on that make her happy. She would love to share it all with a partner too.”
When Davidson and Kardashian split last August, Davidson was filming a movie in Australia, and the couple realized that their busy schedules were causing complications in their relationship.
“Part of the reason they split was because of their busy schedules,” a source said at the time. “They both travel all the time and it was hard.”
The Skims founder also has four children she shares with Kanye West. In December 2022, Kardashian talked about dating some on Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP podcast and admitted she is open to the idea of marrying again and even having more children someday.
“I don’t know,” Kardashian said when asked if she was a romantic. “I am. I am. I have this fantasy in my head, like fourth’s time’s a charm, it’s gonna – it’s gonna work out.”
Basically, Kim Kardashian is just a romantic at heart.
