Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have dropped in popularity and lost their Frogmore Cottage recently, but they have reached some good news. Their Archewell Foundation is thriving.
According to the report that the foundation has published on its official website, the organization has added nearly 12 million euros in income in its first full year of operation, and spent a total of 3,655,000 euros. The data clarifies that the foundation is in excellent financial health. It is enough to compare it with the numbers of the first years of two other well-known foundations from the U.S. to confirm it: the Obama Foundation raised 5.5. million dollars (5 million euros) at its start, and the Clinton Foundation raised 10 million dollars (9.8 million euros).
James Holt and Shauna Nep, co-executive directors of the foundation, published in a note, “With the leadership of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, we have implemented strong strategic partnerships with leading organizations, invested millions of dollars in non-profit programs and sustainable campaigns, and designed a strategy focused on broad and lasting community impact. The results of his work are undeniable, both through metrics that can be seen and the emotional impact that can be felt. In everything we do is the belief that our collective well-being and mental health are paramount. Our initiative between 2020 and 2022 have included investments in vaccine equality, global aid centers, refugee resettlement and caring for families and communities in need.”
The report reflects that the Archewell Foundation follows standard practice for organizations of its size, with a 90/10 ratio promising that 80 percent of all spending goes toward its programs, and 20 percent or fewer goes to spend on administrative spending.
