Taylor Swift Was Honored With Two Big Awards At iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift was honored two big awards at last night’s 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The singer showed up to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California in a sparkling dark blueish gray top and matching pantaboots completely covered in clear crystals from Alexandre Vauthier’s spring-summer 2023 couture collection. She accessorized with KatKim jewelry, and her beauty look included a silver manicure, a smokey eye, and a glossy lip.

On stage, the singer happily accepted the Song of the Year award for her Midnights hit “Anti-Hero,” beating out Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, and Lizzo, who were also nominated.

Swift was also honored with the Innovator Award for her ongoing contributions to the music industry. She thanked her fans and iHeartRadio for the recognition, calling it “a really wonderful surprise.”

“The thing about these exciting nights and moments and especially this award, they’re shining a light on the choices I made that worked out, that turned out to be good ideas,” Swift said as she accepted the award. “I want everyone to know – especially young people – that the hundreds and thousands of dumb ideas that I had led me to my good ideas. You have to give yourself permission to fail. I try as hard as I can not to fail because it’s embarrassing, but I give myself permission to.”

“Make the right choices that make sense for you and someone one day might think you’re innovative,” she continued.

The Midnights singer’s big achievement comes as she reached another milestone and broke a major record as she became the first living recording artist to have seven albums charting in the top 40 of the Billboard 200 at the same time.

According to Billboard, seven of Swift’s albums are currently at the top of the charts for the week of April 1. Her latest album, Midnights, is ranked third on the chart. Whitney Houston was technically the first artist to reach the chart goal in 2012, however, the big win came after her death that February.

Swift is currently on her Eras Tour, which began March 17 and ends August 9.
