Lesser known than its neighbors Saint-Barth and Saint-Martin, Anguilla is nonetheless one of the most stunning islands in the Caribbean. Under the British flag, this is where Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel resides, in the middle of tropical nature and wild creeks.
A pristine Caribbean palace, the hotel is inspired by Moorish architecture with its oriental domes, its emerald zellige swimming pool and its large arches surrounded by palm trees. Facing an endless turquoise sea, visitors set their suitcases in the suites and private villas opening, as they choose, on the beach or on terraces perched overlooking Maundays Bay.
Sleek yet warm, each suite has has linen furniture, a four-poster bed and a light marble bathroom. The days are filled with a multitude of wellness and nautical activities. In the early morning, yoga classes are organized in the open air, the sunrise in the line of sight. Prior to leaving, via boat, explore the Prickly Pear Cays. These small desert islands, which populate the region, where you can snorkel, sunbathe and have lunch of grilled lobster with your feet in the sand.

A tiny community on its own, there is also a collection of restaurants, each more enticing than the next. The Cap Jack is the beach club where you can bite into fish tacos. UCHU lets your tastes buds explore Peru. Cip’s by Cipriani celebrates Italian cuisine, offering everthing from pizza to gnocci. It’s not difficult to find happiness on this side of the Caribbean.
