Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling kicked off their Barbie press tour this weekend, and their outfits have resembled their characters just as we’d hope.
On Sunday, the stars attended a photo call for the upcoming movie at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. For the event, Robbie wore a bright pink Valentino halter minidress in a white polka-dot print with a cutout in the center. The actress paired the dress with white pointed-toe pumps, a large faux pearl bracelet, and a quilted leather yellow mini shoulder bag. Robbie wore a short light-pink manicure, rosy makeup, and shiny, wavy hair.
Ryan Gosling, giving off major Ken-ergy, looked every bit of a modern-day Ken in a cool beige cardigan layered over a classic white tee styled with neat black jeans, a distressed brown leather belt, and black leather boots. He styled his blonde hair in a wavy hairdo.
The stars attended the first press event for the Barbie film in L.A. one day prior, with Robbie arriving in a life-size version of one of Barbie’s most beloved accessories: her pink convertible. The highly anticipated film’s official Instagram account shared two photos of the actress with a vintage, bubblegum-pink Corvette while dressed in a Barbie-pink co-ord.
The Barbie film project will mark the first live-action movie from the Barbie franchise, and the first movie deal from Mattel Films, the film division of the company behind Barbie and other iconic toys. Barbie is set to release on July 21.
