Louis Vuitton just launched its very first podcast, Louis Vuitton [Extended], available today, September 14. Hosted by Loïc Prigent, this new fashion podcast takes listeners behind the scenes of the house’s fashion shows and cultural projects.
Twice a month and for 20 to 40 minutes, Loïc Prigent is at the helm for the first Louis Vuitton podcast, inviting listeners to divulge in the behind-the-scenes of major events at the label. To get things cracking, the first episode will star Pharrell Williams, Men’s Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, who returns to the Spring-Summer 2024 fashion show, organized with fanfare on the Pont-Neuf in Paris, on June 20. Williams speaks in particular about the inspirations for his collection and the tailor-made development of this memorable fashion show, while giving the floor to his uncle, Ezekiel William, director of the Voice en Fire choir, which made the assembly vibrate to the tunes of the title JOY (Unspeakable). A wild and exhilarating first episode which sets the tone for the following ones, including Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of the women’s collections, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, master perfumer, Francesca Amfitheatrof, artistic director of jewelry and watchmaking, as well as a wonderful array of artists, designers, athletes, architects and chefs.
