It’s been a while since Leighton Meester starred as Blair Waldorf in the CW’s Gossip Girl. Much has changed in fashion since we last saw our favorite Upper East Sider parading around New York in bright floral outfits. But one thing that has remained the same is Meester’s ability to pull off Blair Waldorf-approved looks.
The actress recently made a rare red carpet appearance during a Calzedonia event at Milan Fashion Week. For the high profile occasion, she chose an off-white halterneck minidress by Camilla and Marc. The dress featured a plunging V-neckline, hidden front hook and eye clasps, and a sculpted flared waist silhouette. Meester completed her look with sheer black tights from Calzedonia, as well as black pumps and a cherry red mini purse from By Far.
For her beauty look, Meester opted for a soft glam look with sparkly pink eye shadow, rosy cheeks, a glossy pink lip, and short red nails. She also swept her wavy brown hair up into a loose high bun.
Meester is often an elusive presence during red carpet events. She last made a red carpet appearance with her husband, Adam Brody, for the Los Angeles premiere of Warner Bros.’ Shazam! Fury of the Gods this past March. At the time, she wore a glittering gold maxi dress with ruffles at the hem and ends of the mid-length dress from the Vampire’s Wife. She paired the ensemble with beige sandals from Manolo Blahnik, a black rectangular clutch by Jimmy Choo, and drop earrings.
Brody, meanwhile, wore a double-breasted navy suit, crisp white button-down, and shiny maroon loafers.
