These Trends From The Courrèges Fashion Show Will Be Everywhere In 2024

Nicolas Di Felice has unveiled his Courrèges show for Paris Fashion Week spring-summer 2024, blowing a breath of fresh air on fashion, right in the air of the times. So much so that several of the designer’s creations are already on our wishlist for next season. Below are some of the trends from the fashion show that we just know will be everywhere soon.

Hot pants

The centerpiece of the Courrèges collection? The bell-bottom pants, an icon of the 1970s, that Nicolas Di Felice revisited to reflect the codes of the French house. This new model is embellished with cutouts on the sides of the legs or at the thighs, bringing just the right amount of sexiness to the silhouette. It features vinyl, a leather effect, and can be paired with leather jackets and shirts for added effect.

Shirt Effect

The oversized look continues to be popular in fashion. As we noticed that the shirt was nearly everywhere on the catwalks this season, like at Prada and Alexander McQueen, this autumn, it is especially worn in its XXL version, in order to give an effortless effect to the outfit. Courrèges understands this well and provides unstructured versions, striped or pristine, worn as a dress or bodysuit.

Curved heels

A certain kind of heel made a maximum effect on the catwalk which was reminiscent of the moon: some models wore shoes with curved heels, models which do not go down straight, but rather in the form of a small rounded wave, offering a statement side to the silhouette. A futuristic spirit specific to core of Courrèges.
