Today, September 28, sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner met at the Schiaparelli fashion show, which took place at the Italian Embassy in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Though Kylie was sitting front row, it was Kendall who was front and center on the catwalk. For the event, Daniel Roseberry invited an audience of star-studded guests, like Rosalía , Kylie Jenner and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu . On the catwalk, the workwear pieces took on couture features, revisited and corrected through the surrealist aesthetic of Schiaparelli. Carrying on the legacy of Elsa Schiaparelli, Daniel Roseberry once again succeeds in creating surprise by reimagining familiar pieces in order to make them remarkable. A golden lobster attached to a little black dress, a cape connected by chained ears, a bag with the image of a torso, silhouettes with voluptuous drapes, and much more.
For the finale, Daniel Roseberry provided viewers a legendary moment: Kendall Jenner, majestic in a red dress in stretch tulle and embroidered with sequins, closed the Schiaparelli spring-summer 2024 fashion show. Wearing trompe l’oeil toe pumps, signature of the house, and wearing a voluminous blow-dry, she sauntered through the lounges of the Italian Embassy, under the eyes of her little sister, in the front row and to the rhythm of the cheers of the public. A real iconic fashion moment.
