Halloween has come and gone, and now it’s time to look to another holiday. And so we welcome Mariah Carey and all of her glorious Christmas music.
As expected, Mariah Carey celebrated November 1 (aka the beginning of the holiday season for some) by posting a fabulous Christmas-themed video to kick-start the season. In the Instagram Reel, an animated clock counts down from October 31 to November 1. Inside a huge frozen safe, a load of Halloween monsters blow-dry a large block of ice, which contains the superstar. The ice finally melts and cracks when she sings, “It’s time!”. The clip then cuts to Carey, friends, and her twins dancing in the snow in Santa outfits.
For the number, the singer opted for a Santa-themed catsuit, including bright red fabric trimmed with white fur, plus a thick black belt cinching her waist. She completed her look with black gloves, black Santa boots, and diamond chandelier earrings. For her beauty, she opted for rosy cheeks, an espresso eye look with thick lashes, and light pink glossy lips.
