The preppy aesthetic is still at the top of the list of fall-winter 2023-2024 trends, breathing retro charm into looks, driven by argyle prints. A traditional Scottish pattern, argyle was popularized in the 1920s by Pringle of Scotland but it was only in the 1980s that it confirmed its fashion status.
Its preppy lines have propelled it to the top of fashion desires and into the wardrobes of fashion girls.
