Ingredients for 6 people
- 500 g of pureed cooked pumpkin
- 1 puff pastry
- 170 g of cane sugar
- 2 eggs
- 140 ml of full-fat liquid cream
- 1 tablespoon of gingerbread spices
- 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
- Place the dough in a tart mold, keeping the baking paper. Cook the tart base blind with stones (or dried beans) placed on the dough. Bake until the edges turn blond and lightly golden. Remove the baking paper and leave the tart base in the mold.
- Reduce the oven to 325°F (160°C)
- Mix the eggs with the pureed pumpkin, then add the sugar, cream and spices.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-cooked pastry base and place in the oven. Bake for about an hour or more depending on the depth of the pan.
- The tart will harden as it cools.
- Top with whipped cream!
