3 Tips To Get Naturally Plump Lips

How do you get fuller and naturally plump lips without undergoing the needles? We have an expert’s tips.

“Movement and circulation is key in all areas of our bodies for a youthful appearance – and that includes our lips,” says Andrea Carlisle Rodriguez, a celebrity stretch, lymphatic drainage, and buccal face massage specialist. Andrea shared her “easy do-it-yourself technique” to naturally plump lips and smooth out lip and mouth lines in an interview with Poosh.

“As long as you keep your lips moving daily with the steps below, you can achieve the look of lip filler without having to spend the money and go through the process,” Andrea says.

Below are her tips to naturally plump lips.

  1. Make a kissy face, and grab your lips with your index fingers and thumbs.
    • Gently squeeze the lips, and move them around in a circular motion. Do this all across the lips, including the corners of the mouth.
    • Then, do small, soft squeezes on the lips with your index finger and thumb from one side of the mouth to the other.
    • Repeat those three steps as much as you’d like.

2. Take your bottom lip with your index finger and thumb and gently stretch out the lip in opposite directions.

  • Gently squeeze across the lips from one side of the mouth to the other.
  • Massage small circles with your index finger and thumb inside the lips from one side of the mouth to the other.
  • Repeat steps on the top lip.

3. Gently stretch out the top and bottom lip in opposite directions

  • Repeat the sequence as often as you want.
