Each year, the Met Gala red carpet shows some of the most iconic celebrity fashion moments of all time. This year’s theme was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”, and was certainly no different from previous years, with a troupe of A-listers hitting the red carpet in custom creations.The evening’s best dressed attendees were those who stayed close to this year’s theme (and “the garden of time” dress code) – doing so in both thoughtful and unexpected ways.

Florals, unsurprisingly, proved to be the breakout look of the evening. Celebrities transformed into high-fashion bouquets in a multitude of ways.Some of the night’s more surprising moments shined, too, showing that the best dressed celebrities of the Met Gala didn’t have to be in florals.
