Hilary Duff is now a mother to four.
The Lizzie McGuire alumn welcomed her fourth child, a girl, via home birth earlier this month, and shared sweet candid photos Tuesday from the experience.
In the black-and-white photos, Hilary Duff is seen holding her newborn daughter inside a tub at her home, moments after the little girl was born. Next to Duff are her midwife and her husband, Matthew Koma. In one photo, Duff is seen kissing Koma while holding their newborn daughter.
“Townes Meadow Bair, now we know why she made us wait so long… She was perfecting those Cheeks!” The actress captioned an Instagram post with the photos. “I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic. We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty.”
Koma also posted on his Instagram, paying tribute to the mother of his children and joking about their newborn’s appearance. “My literal warrior goddess of a wife gave birth to our beautiful Townes Meadow Bair at home on 5/3/24. She’s happy, healthy, chunky and looks like nobody in our genetic pool so if anyone knows of @hilaryduff’s whereabouts roughly 9 months ago to date, please reach out for a cash reward,” he wrote alongside the same sweet photos.
Duff and Koma married in 2019 after years of on-and-off dating. Apart from newborn daughter Townes, they also share daughter Banks Violet, five, whom they welcomed in 2018, and daughter Mae James, three who was born in 2021. The actress also has a son, 12-year-old Luca, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
