Mick Jagger entered the 1960s era music scene with a burning fire amongst him. During his teen years, the singer drew inspiration from rhythm and blues singers, and even founded his own musical group Little Boy Blue & The Blues Boys alongside his friend Dick Taylor. Once Jagger and Keith Richards met on a train platform, neither knew the two were about to change the music world for years to come. They began by hanging out together, then eventually playing music side by side, and soon they met Ian Stewart and Brian Jones, from there the Rolling Stones were born.
Despite being rather secretive, Jagger quickly gathered attention for his androgynous and out-of-the-box style, in stark contrast with the current rock’n’roll stars, The Beatles, who largely wore modest and minimalistic outfits. A genuine wild card, the singer managed to show off his sex appeal while also demonstrating his overflowing charisma. In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the singer as number 16 in the list of the world’s 100 greatest singers of all time.
