Lady Gaga Will Release An Exclusive Song For The New ‘Wednesday’ Season

Announced in the cast of season 2 of Wednesday alongside Jenna Ortega, Lady Gaga will make an appearance as Professor Rosaline Rotwood. And that’s not all, the singer will also appear on the soundtrack of the series. For some time now, rumors have been circulating on social media about a possible song made exclusively for the return of Wednesday season 2. Now it’s official. Lady Gaga will soon return to give us a new song to accompany the adventures of Wednesday Addams.

As she’s in the process of a world tour, the Mayhem Ball Tour, Lady Gaga brings a new song to her discovery, “Dead Dance”. Created exclusively to accompany the second part of season 2 of the Wednesday series, the song will be released at the same time as the broadcast of new episodes on Netflix, in September. The creation and production of this song was made with collaborators Andrew Watt and Cirkut, also behind Mayhem, the singer’s seventh studio album. With this pop record accompanied by an instrumental loaded with electro-pop, Lady Gaga has returned to her roots. Mayhem suggests more than one album she may have released at the beginning of her career, including her first three (The Fame in 2008, The Fame Monster in 2009 and Born This Way in 2011).

Regarding the vibes of this new musical era, Lady Gaga adopts black hair before alternating with blonde wigs, her signature look. Therefore, “Dead Dance” should perfectly fit into the artist’s dark and captivating universe. The title and its music video will be released next month to coincide with the appearance of the celebrity in the Wednesday series.
