A Victoria Beckham Docuseries Is Coming To Netflix

Victoria Beckham has officially landed her own Netflix docuseries. This follows the success of Beckham, which highlighted the rise of her husband David from a young footballer to England captain and beyond, and saw Victoria Beckham making multiple witty, scene-stealing appearances.

In the upcoming show (untitled as of now), Victoria’s journey from ’90s Spice Girl to fashion and beauty entrepreneur will be retold from her point of view. As per the summary released, “Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire – and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.”

Described as “an observational documentary following her, behind the scenes in Paris and with her family,” viewers can expect a unique insight into Victoria’s personal and professional life, as well as a focus on fashion. It will be produced by David’s production company Studio 99 (which also produced his own documentary, as well as Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story) in association with Dorothy Street Pictures.

After the Spice Girls split in 2001, Victoria released a self-titled debut solo album, producing two UK Top 10 singles, before blossoming into a style icon and focusing on fashion design, launching her eponymous label in 2008. Worn by A-listers from Gwyneth Paltrow to Lady Gaga, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kim Kardashian, the label has endured critical acclaim.

Following a 2016 capsule collection in collaboration with Estée Lauder, in September 2019 the fashion mogul launched Victoria Beckham Beauty – a luxury line of cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.
