I get it. Every celebrity is releasing beauty lines these days and so when a new one comes out you don’t get as hyped up about it anymore. But if there’s one celebrity who you can trust to drop a line worth getting excited for, it’s Lauren Conrad. And leave it to her to break the Internet by randomly dropping the news of her beauty line by surprise – no sneak peaks or anything. LC announced to her fans on Instagram (obviously) on Wednesday, August 12th that the line that’s been in the works for years is already available.
“I’m thrilled to finally share Lauren Conrad Beauty!” said LC in a statement. “We’ve been working for years to create a line that’s clean, environmentally friendly, ethically sourced and vegan – and all available at accessible price points without sacrificing quality.”
As of right now, the line is made up of five products, ranging from $18 to $26, and all packaged in pale pink. The collection consists of a lip and cheek tint, lip gloss, lipstick, liquid highlighter, and liquid eyeliner. The line is free of parabens, phthalates and preservatives and prioritizes sustainability.
Conrad shared with Cosmopolitan that she expects the line to “expand quite a bit.” She said, “We’re actually going to include skincare in the line as we continue to grow. We’ll be launching a cleanser, a toner mist, and vitamin C oil, which I really love. I’ve had melasma for years, so I have a lot of discoloration on my face. Anything that brightens, I’m really excited about.”
