Jennifer Aniston Launched Her Own Hair Care Brand, LolaVie

I think we can all agree that Jennifer Aniston just will. not. age. She’s a freak of nature in the best way.

One of her best signature looks? Her hair, obviously. At one point it was even named “The Rachel” after her ‘Friends’ character. This is precisely why people have lost it when Jen finally launched her own beauty brand called LolaVie.

Aniston announced the news on Instagram, sharing a series of videos and pictures, documenting the behind-the-scenes process to making her products. The post shows bottles on conveyor belts, Jen looking at documents beside her dog, plus a video of her tearing up at the end of a photoshoot.

She captioned the photos: “Hi world! Meet @Lolavie. This project has been in the works for a long time and I’m so excited to finally be able to introduce it to you. So much hard work from our incredible team went into making this line — and we’re really proud to say it’s been WITHOUT all the bad stuff… we’re paraben-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, phthalates-free, gluten-free, vegan…and of course CRUELTY-FREE, because we love our animals. Our very first product releases today, but there’ so much more to come. In the meantime… Enjoy!!”

So, what is this first product? The official LolaVie Instagram account shared a chic black and white pic of Jen with a similar caption. It just added: “Our first product, The Glossing Detangler, is officially available today (tap!) – but there’s SO much more to come. We can’t wait to hear what you think.”

The LolaVie website states that, currently, it will only ship to “the United States, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses” and “Peurto Rico, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands”.

It adds, “While we do not ship to other countries internationally at this time, we are hoping to be able to do so in the near future.”

The website adds that the brand also uses bamboo essence rather than average water, is Leaping Bunny-certified and its products can be used on 100% human hair extensions.

Although Jen’s Instagram caption seems to suggest that LolaVie is just a hair care brand, it’s likely it will expand. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a trademark for LolaVie was filed back in July 2019. It covers beauty products such as “lotions for face and body, non-medicated soaps for face and body, non-medicated preparations for care of the skin, bath gel, deodorant and hair care preparations.”

Can’t wait to see what’s next. We’ll take a little of everything, please.
